Job Summary

On a day-to-day basis, the Business Development Associate / Analyst will support the Head of Business Development with our local and regional growth efforts across various business verticals.
Work arrangement: Hybrid with occasional on-site client / team meetings
Key Responsibilities
a. Business Development
.Support local / regional growth efforts including engagement with relevant government bodies, networking and development of relevant presentation decks
Support bid efforts for government tenders including development of proposals, preparation of internal briefing documents / decks and bid administration
Analyse market gaps, understand client needs and co-develop pilot concepts to pitch to prospective clients / government agencies
Contribute to strategic initiatives including (but not limited to) market research / surveys, thought leadership, development of white papers and attending brand raising events
Engage and support internal stakeholders and global counterparts (e.g. Operations / Business Development / Corporate Development / Country teams) where required
Provide other support to Head of Business Development (e.g. Updating of pipeline / CRM system, coordination of stakeholder meetings, event registration, etc.) as required
b. Project Implementation
Support new project implementation including project management and development of resources (e.g. implementation plan, briefing documents, SOPs, reporting templates, etc.)
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot, monitor and report on project performance / outcomes
Provide regular updates and prepare materials for cadence meetings with government clients and other relevant stakeholders
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
Minimum Degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Political / Social Science or related fields
Minimum 3 years of work experience (experience working in a social enterprise or in a regional market would be an advantage)
Exceptional fresh graduates with relevant work / internship experience are welcome to apply and will be considered for the Analyst-level position
Excellent communication skills including business writing is essential
Strong stakeholder / project management skills
Ability to consolidate and present data / information in a clear and compelling manner
Analytical, curious, resourceful with a strong sense of initiative
Well-organized, detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
Business acumen with a good grasp of general knowledge across the APAC region preferred
Ability to perform independently in a deadline-oriented work environment
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word)
