Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Business Development Assistant to join our dynamic and international team in Singapore.

You will support the regional Business Development team in the preparation of RFP submissions, proposals, client presentations, and marketing materials.

This role is ideal for someone with strong visual presentation skills, excellent written communication, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced design environment.

The Business Development Assistant will play a key role in ensuring all proposal documents and presentation decks are professionally prepared, visually compelling, and aligned with HBA's global brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Proposal & RFP Management

  • Assist in the preparation, coordination, and submission of RFPs and business proposals
  • Compile project credentials, team biographies, and company information for proposal submissions
  • Coordinate with design teams, leadership, and marketing teams to gather required materials and information
  • Ensure proposal submissions are accurate, timely, and professionally formatted
  • Maintain and update proposal templates, project databases, and submission archives

Presentation & Deck Preparation

  • Create and format high-quality PowerPoint and presentation decks for client meetings, pitches, and internal reviews
  • Ensure presentations are visually engaging and aligned with HBA brand standards
  • Support the preparation of keynote presentations, interview decks, and business development materials
  • Assist in graphic layout and visual storytelling for presentations

Business Development Support

  • Support the Business Development team with meeting preparation, scheduling, and follow-up materials
  • Assist in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence gathering
  • Help track opportunities, leads, and pipeline activities
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and presentation materials for management meetings

Marketing & Administrative Support

  • Coordinate with global marketing teams on collateral updates and branding materials

Organise digital files, project references, and marketing assets

Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you:

  • 1+ year of experience in a business development or marketing position
  • Fresh graduates from marketing, communications, design, or related disciplines with hands-on experience in graphic design software are also welcome to apply
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Architecture, or Interior Design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in English, oral and written.
  • -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating effective presentations and marketing collateral
  • Have the right to work in Singapore without any Visa sponsorship, e.g., Singaporean / Singapore PR

  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines
