Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and highly professional
Business Development Assistant
to provide dedicated support to senior management in driving business expansion, fostering client engagement, and coordinating cross-regional operations. This role demands exceptional organisational skills, confidence in corporate networking, and the ability to manage complex schedules and business activities across multiple markets. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our growth initiatives and will play a critical role in maintaining strong, sustainable relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior management in end-to-end business development initiatives and regional market expansion activities
- Coordinate high-level meetings, business presentations, and strategic partnership discussions
- Assist in drafting and preparing business proposals, performance reports, and presentation materials
- Manage executive calendars, travel itineraries, and logistical arrangements for business engagements
- Represent the company at corporate networking events, client meetings, and industry functions
- Provide on-site operational support during conferences, exhibitions, and business negotiations
- Liaise with regional partners, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless cross-functional communication
- Assist in organising corporate hospitality events and relationship-building activities
- Accompany senior management on overseas business trips to support deal-making and stakeholder engagement
- Ensure timely follow-up on business opportunities and stakeholder communications
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive business information
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development support, executive coordination, or corporate relations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to support interactions with Chinese-speaking stakeholders
- Confident and composed in client-facing and corporate networking environments
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evening business engagements, to align with operational needs
- Willingness to travel overseas for business purposes (as required)
- Possess a valid driving licence and comfortable with driving for work-related activities
- Professional appearance and strong business etiquette, with excellent organisational and time-management skills
