The Business Development and Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving LEE's market expansion and brand development in both Singapore and China. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong strategic, cross-cultural, and entrepreneurial capabilities to identify opportunities, build partnerships, and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Development
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships with educational organisations, training centres, and potential investors in China.
- Develop and implement market entry and expansion strategies aligned with LEE's vision and operational standards.
- Support the Director in preparing business proposals, partnership agreements, and investment presentations.
- Coordinate cross-border collaboration between LEE's Singapore headquarters and Chinese partners, ensuring mutual alignment and compliance.
- Establish and maintain relationships with government, education, and industry stakeholders in both markets.
2. Marketing & Brand Development
- Lead marketing strategy planning and execution for Singapore and China markets, including digital advertising, social media campaigns, and public relations.
- Manage brand presence across multiple platforms: WeChat, XiaoHongShu, Douyin, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and official websites.
- Oversee the creation of bilingual marketing materials (English and Chinese), ensuring accuracy, creativity, and consistency in brand messaging.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and parent/student behaviour studies to guide marketing initiatives.
- Plan and manage promotional events, open houses, and media collaborations to enhance brand visibility and student enrolment.
3. Communication & Operational Support
- Facilitate effective communication between Singapore and China teams regarding marketing plans, student recruitment, and partnership performance.
- Support marketing staff in Singapore centres to ensure consistency in promotion and parent engagement activities.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness and prepare regular marketing performance reports for management review.
- Participate in staff training and development initiatives related to marketing and communications.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of professional experience in business development, marketing, or education management.
- Proven knowledge of both Singapore and China education industries.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and social media ecosystems across both regions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
