Business Credit Risk - SME Finance

We are seeking an experienced Business Credit Risk Officer to oversee SME loan portfolios and ensure prudent lending practices. You will play a key role in evaluating creditworthiness and mitigating financial risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess SME loan applications for credit risk and compliance
- Analyse financial statements, business performance, and industry trends
- Recommend loan structures and terms aligned with risk policies
- Monitor loan performance and identify early warning signs of default
- Develop and implement risk management strategies
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal credit policies
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- At least 5 years experience in credit risk or credit assessment within financial services
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of SME financing practices
- Familiarity with MAS regulations and non-bank lending policies preferred
