The Business Change Manager (Application and Integration) is responsible for translating business requirements into effective system solutions, ensuring successful delivery of application and warehouse management processes within project scope. This role combines analytical capability, specification expertise, and strong stakeholder engagement to support implementations and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead WMS implementations, migrations, and upgrades in line with enterprise standards
- Collaborate with IT teams (both client and internal DSV) to define and validate EDI, reporting, and labelling specifications
- Configure WMS applications and manage change requests based on operational requirements
- Support the full project lifecycle: SIT, UAT, cutover, golive, and hypercare
- Ensure data mapping, integration, and reporting meet quality and scalability standards
- Oversee endtoend testing, defect resolution, and scope control
- Coordinate handover to IT service management for longterm support
- Apply DSV project implementation methodologies for consistent application and integration design delivery
Promote best practices in WMS configuration, integration, and documentation
Qualifications & Experience:
- 58 years of relevant experience in application and integration engineering within logistics or enterprise IT
- Strong understanding of WMS systems (especially JDA BY), integration tools, and enterprise standards
- Experience in crossfunctional collaboration and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with project governance frameworks and quality planning methodologies
- Strong command of spoken and written English; proficiency in other Asian languages is an advantage
- Handson approach, able to multitask and work under time pressure
- Willingness to travel overseas on a project basis (46 times per year)
