Position Overview

Industrial Scientific is looking for a dynamic Business Analytics Intern to join our team in Singapore. This role involves supporting our sales organization by managing tools, processes, and data analysis. The intern will work closely with sales management to provide operational support, manage CRM systems, and support lead management and selected demand generation activities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, communication across various organizational levels, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Support the sales team with business reporting and on-demand analysis.

Monitor business health indicators and highlight potential risks.

Assist in developing sales metrics and strategies.

Help refine operational management processes.

Prepare commercial documentation for tenders.

Aid in the implementation of framework agreements.

Identify and propose solutions for process inefficiencies.

Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of existing core sales metrics dashboards.

Maintain program documentation and standards.

Support the execution and optimization of digital marketing initiatives across platforms like social media, email, and online ads.

Analyze campaign performance metrics and suggest enhancements.

Research market trends, competitors, and consumer behavior to guide strategic decisions.

Apply research insights to enhance digital marketing strategies.

Support lead management activities within CRM, including lead data quality, routing, and basic funnel tracking (e.g., inquiry to MQL/SQL).

Assist with campaign tracking set-up and reporting to improve attribution and follow-up.

Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Revenue Operations and Commercial Excellence.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field (e.g., Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or business-related discipline (Data Science is preferred).

Proficient in Excel for data analysis, including statistics and macros, and familiar with tools like Power BI.

Basic understanding of data management and business operations.

Programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages are advantageous.

Interest or familiarity with digital marketing and lead funnel concepts, and comfort working in CRM systems (e.g., lead stages, lead source fields, campaign tracking).
