Business Analyst Treasury & Markets

• Join an Agile/Scrum team supporting Treasury & Markets projects and enhancements.
• Facilitate requirements workshops with key stakeholders, including Front Office, Support Units, UX/UI Designers, and Technology teams, to elicit, clarify, and validate business requirements.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into clear and well-structured functional specifications for technology teams.
• Act as the key bridge between business users and technology teams, ensuring requirements and expectations are clearly communicated throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Lead and manage issues identified during UAT and Sprint cycles, ensuring timely resolution and proper requirements traceability.
• Analyse and define application interface requirements using technologies and protocols such as REST APIs and Kafka.
• Work closely with subject matter experts across Technology & Operations (T&O) to develop practical and well-thought-out solutions.
• Apply strong business and technical knowledge to understand business, operational, and technology considerations when addressing issues.
• Respond promptly to issues and recommend appropriate solutions based on business requirements and technical feasibility.
• Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders across different functions and maintain strong working relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong business and technical subject matter knowledge, with the ability to understand and translate complex requirements.
• Good understanding of multi-asset class financial products, such as: Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives, Foreign Exchange (FX) Derivatives, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), and other Treasury & Markets products
• Experience working with Wealth Management users will be an advantage.
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to manage projects and deliverables independently with minimal supervision.
• Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects or priorities simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business and technology stakeholders.
