About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in Private Banking and Wealth Management to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution, specializing in the Temenos T24 (Transact) platform. You will lead the analysis, design, and delivery of solutions for complex Treasury and Trading products, ensuring alignment with both business strategy and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Lead requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders to understand needs related to Trading and Treasury products (FX, Money Markets, MM, Derivatives, Securities, Bonds).
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional and system specifications, ensuring optimal utilization of Temenos Transact capabilities.
- Conduct gap/fit analysis to identify solutions that balance business needs, technical feasibility, and regulatory compliance (e.g., MiFID, BASEL, SWIFT standards).
Project Delivery & Implementation
- Drive the functional design, configuration, and parameterization of Temenos Trading modules.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Development, QA, and Infrastructure teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.
- Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, ensuring full traceability from initial requirements to final test results.
Integration & Support
- Support integration testing for critical interfaces connecting front-office trading systems with risk management, accounting, and other back-office systems.
- Assist in data migration validation, regression testing, and provide expert support during post-go-live hyper-care phases.
Leadership & Domain Expertise
- Act as a domain expert within the project team, providing mentorship to junior Business Analysts on Temenos functionalities and trading processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market practices, financial instruments, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Have:
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in banking IT, with a proven track record of at least 5 years in business analysis, consultancy, and solution delivery specifically within Private Banking or Wealth Management.
- Technical Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Private Banking products and financial instruments, specifically within Securities, Corporate Actions, Treasury (FX, MM), and Derivatives.
- Temenos Skills: Extensive hands-on experience with Temenos T24 (Transact) , including previous implementation experience. Strong know-how of Finance-related functionalities is essential.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to understand complex business needs and translate them into clear, actionable functional specifications and user stories.
- Testing & Validation: Experience in functional testing, UAT coordination, and managing traceability matrices.
Good-to-Have:
- Experience with Temenos Integration Framework (TIF) and front-to-back integration with third-party treasury systems.
- Familiarity with Temenos Infinity, Analytics, or other modules.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and global delivery setups.
- Relevant certifications such as the ACI Dealing Certificate or specific Temenos Treasury certifications.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
