ServiceNow Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

HR Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the key liaison between HR stakeholders (HR Ops, Payroll, Benefits, Employee Relations) and delivery teams
  • Conduct HR process workshops covering:
  • Employee lifecycle (hire-to-retire)
  • Case management
  • Knowledge management
  • HR request fulfillment
  • Translate HR business needs into ServiceNow HRSD functional requirements

ServiceNow HRSD Solution Delivery

  • Analyze, document, and support implementations of ServiceNow HR Service Delivery, including:
  • HR Case & Knowledge Management
  • Employee Center / HR Portal
  • HR Catalog & workflows
  • COEs (Employee Relations, HR Operations, Payroll, Benefits, etc.)
  • Partner with ServiceNow Developers and Architects to support solution design and configuration
  • Ensure alignment with ServiceNow HRSD best practices and Cognizant delivery standards

Documentation, Testing & Delivery

  • Produce high-quality documentation:
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
  • User stories and acceptance criteria
  • Support Agile delivery ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos)
  • Lead and support UAT for HRSD, including test scenario creation and defect triage

Governance, Risk & Change

  • Ensure HR data privacy, security, and compliance requirements are met
  • Support change management, release planning, and client sign-offs
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and HR process optimization

Required Skills & Experience:

Core Requirements

  • 38+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • Hands-on ServiceNow HRSD project experience (mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle
  • Experience working in consulting / system integrator environments (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies

Functional & Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow HRSD modules and capabilities
  • Experience documenting HR workflows, case types, catalog items, and knowledge articles
  • Conceptual understanding of HR integrations (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, etc.)

Soft Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work with senior HR leaders and global teams
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and delivery-focused

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • ServiceNow HRSD certification
  • Experience with Employee Center Pro
  • Exposure to regulated or large enterprise environments
  • Experience supporting global or multi-country HR operations

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field
