Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, identify process improvement opportunities, and support the delivery of IT application enhancements. This role offers exposure to multiple business applications and end-to-end project activities, including requirements analysis, functional documentation and UAT coordination.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science;
• Must have 1-3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably supporting or delivering IT applications;
• Must have experience in requirements gathering, gap analysis and preparation of business and functional documentation;
• Demonstrated understanding of business needs with an interest in business process analysis and re-engineering;
• Foundational SQL knowledge, with the ability to write and understand queries;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose practical solutions.

Desired Skill-set

• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certified.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business users and product owners to gather and understand business requirements across multiple applications and platforms;
• Analyse business needs and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications for development teams;
• Facilitate discussions between business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and proposed solutions;
• Prepare business requirements documents, functional specifications and other relevant project documentation;
• Develop and execute test plans, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support defect resolution;
• Track and report project progress, issues and risks to ensure timely delivery of project milestones;
• Support multiple application systems and platforms while adhering to organisational and project standards.
