Business Analyst

Salary: up to SGD 7450 (Depending on overall experience and skills)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1 Provide support system enhancements which includes testing and resolving of issues, raising enhancement and liaising with user requirements and IT Department / Developer

2 Maintain a risk and compliance culture with zero tolerance for regulatory breaches and fraud, supporting and delivering Fair Dealing outcomes. Perform random check on system behaving correctly after ported to production.

3 Assist in the management of the various systems for different distribution channels which cuts across different business line. This includes the implementation of different initiatives by different channels.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Review Business Specifications, develop & execute Test Plan and User Documentation to ensure timely & quality delivery of IT solutions

2 Ensure that user requirements are effectively and accurately communicate to IT Department

3 Ensure solutions and systems provided meet business objectives

4 Responsible for Functional Testing of systems before release to UAT for User Testing

5 Plan and conduct feasibility studies and functional analysis of business requirements

6 Support User Acceptance Test Planning & automated and manual testing.

7 Organize and co-ordinate all implementation activities and user acceptance testing

8 Continually assess the effectiveness of business specifications and testing methodology in terms of contents and format

9 Develop & review User Guide and Standard Operating Process (SOP)

10 Handle any other project or duties as assigned by HOS / HOD

COMPETENCIES

1 Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, IT, or relevant discipline

2 Minimum 5 years experience in BA role, preferably insurance domain. Experience with POS portal is preferred

3 Analytical and problem solving abilities

4 Familiar with MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

5 Effective documentation and communication

6 Experience in managing IT projects and administration is advantageous

8 Understanding of User interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design principles and how to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces.

9 Preferred with BA experience from banking/insurance or experience with with insurance domain, sales engagement, UI/UX design, cross platforms integration.
