Job Description:
MSSG is looking for a skilled Business Analyst / Project Manager to bridge business, technology, and delivery. This role is responsible for defining requirements, shaping solutions, and driving delivery end to end.
The role is hands-on where you will act as both:
- Business Analyst - understanding problems and defining solutions
- Project Manager planning, tracking, and delivering outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis
- Work closely with business and operations teams to:
- Understand processes, pain points, and requirements
- Define clear functional and non-functional requirements
- Translate business needs into:
- User stories
- Requirements documents
- Process flows
- Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and testable.
Project Management & Delivery
- Own delivery of small to medium initiatives end to end.
- Define scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
- Track progress and manage issues, risks, and changes.
- Ensure delivery stays aligned to business priorities and timelines.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact between:
- Business
- Technology
- Vendors (where applicable)
- Run workshops, working group sessions, and status meetings.
- Provide clear, concise updates to senior stakeholders.
Change & Governance
- Support change management, UAT, and go-live activities.
- Ensure solutions meet compliance, audit, and operational requirements.
- Maintain documentation and delivery artefacts.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency.
- Support post-implementation reviews and lessons learned.
- Help improve delivery and analysis practices over time.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 5 years experience as a Business Analyst, with hands-on project delivery experience.
- Proven ability to manage projects, not just analyse requirements.
- Strong experience working with business stakeholders, technology teams, external vendors
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
- Exposure to Technology delivery, Application changes, Data or workflow systems
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CBAP, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are a plus, but not required.
