The Business Analyst consults with business subject matter experts and technology teams to identify, document, and manage business requirements. The role involves facilitating workshops, analyzing business needs, and ensuring solutions align with organizational goals. The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business and technology by providing clear, detailed, and structured documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Scope of Work:
- Lead and facilitate requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders across all levels.
- Review, analyze, and document business systems and user needs, including workflow analysis.
- Break down requirements into functional and non-functional specifications and create detailed documentation.
- Manage project deliverables within time, cost, and quality constraints.
- Facilitate estimation sessions and support Quality Assurance (QA) processes.
- Assess the feasibility and impact of proposed solutions across infrastructure, application development, and business areas.
- Maintain traceability of business requirements to solution components throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ensure adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3-5 years in business process mapping, business requirements analysis, documentation, data mapping, and test planning.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, policies, and procedures.
- Strong hands-on experience in process mapping, business requirements analysis, and test planning.
- Knowledge of RUP and/or Agile methodologies, including use case modeling.
- Ability to independently manage multiple initiatives effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
