Business Analyst (UAT & Defect Management)
Location: Chai Chee, Singapore (On-site)
Contract Duration: 6 months (Renewal subject to project continuity and performance)
Base Salary: Up to SGD 4,100
Work Environment: Oracle-based transformation, CMT (Communications, Media & Technology) space
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support a large-scale transformation program in the CMT space. This role focuses on client management, test coordination, execution tracking, and end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) readiness. The candidate will be working in an Oracle-based transformation environment and will play a crucial role in ensuring testing success and efficient defect management.
Key Responsibilities
UAT & Defect Management:
- Drive and support UAT/SIT execution across multiple service order functional streams.
- Track, triage, and escalate defects with relevant technical teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Follow up on retests, manage test data requirements, and maintain defect logs.
- Maintain test scenarios, evidence, defect summaries, and fulfilment health trackers.
Stakeholder & Client Coordination:
- Act as liaison between client business users, application teams, and solution architects.
- Provide clear and timely updates on testing progress, blockers, and readiness to stakeholders and project leads.
- Prepare concise communications (emails, trackers, summaries) to align internal teams and escalate issues as needed.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
- Strong BA/functional background, preferably in Oracle or Telco environments.
- Knowledge of UAT/SIT processes, including defect triaging, reporting, and testing documentation.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to investigate and explain complex fulfilment issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with defect management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable navigating complex testing cycles.
