About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to understand business needs, define requirements, and ensure successful implementation of projects. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between technical teams and business users to drive business value through data-driven insights and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and processes.
- Define clear functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
- Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements are implemented correctly and efficiently.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for process improvements, optimization, and automation.
- Provide support in the design and delivery of solutions, ensuring that the final product meets business goals and user expectations.
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and meetings with stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Create detailed reports, dashboards, and data models to assist decision-makers in strategic planning and operations.
- Monitor project progress and ensure that timelines and deliverables are met.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that the system is functioning as intended.
- Continuously assess business processes and systems, recommending enhancements and process improvements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technology advancements to identify opportunities for innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, ideally in an Agile environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, and documenting use cases or user stories.
- Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools and data analytics (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Preferred:
- Experience with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise software systems.
- Knowledge of data modeling and SQL.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master).
- Experience in change management and process reengineering.
- Knowledge of automation tools or experience in developing automation solutions.
