Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team, specializing in the payment banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payment systems, financial processes, and banking operations. They will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring successful delivery of payment solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering and Analysis.

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements related to payment systems.

2. Analyse and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.

Work closely with development teams to design and implement File conversion requirements using the mapping specifications.

Create mapping documents that show how each source field translates into the target format.

Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment and clear communication.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases, validating results, and ensuring defects are resolved.

Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and user expectation

Conduct workshops and presentations to gather feedback and validate requirements.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge on host-to-host channels that connect corporate ERP/TMS systems directly with the bank.

Expertise in file formats (ISO 20022 XML, CSV, proprietary formats).

Knowledge of secure transmission protocols (SFTP, API).

Deep knowledge of SWIFT payment systems

Knowledge of Boomi Integrations

Knowledge of APAC Payment types

Cash management and Supply chain finance

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the payment banking domain.

Extensive expertise in cash management and payment systems across APAC, including TT, FAST, GIRO, and other digital payment solutions.

Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, and process modelling software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.

Experience with agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
