Job Description

The Business Analyst will support the business development team in identifying growth opportunities, analyzing market trends, developing business strategies, and optimizing processes for the stock brokerage. This role will involve close collaboration with sales, marketing, compliance, operations and IT to drive initiatives that expand the client base, enhance product offerings, and improve revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market & Competitor Analysis:
    Conduct research and analysis on financial markets, industry trends, client needs, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    Gather, analyze, and interpret data from internal and external sources. Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Opportunity Assessment:
    Evaluate new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and product enhancements. Prepare business cases and feasibility studies.
  • Process Improvement:
    Identify gaps or inefficiencies in current business processes. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
  • Project Planning & Organization:
    Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of business development projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
    Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Compliance, IT, Operation) to ensure business development objectives are met.
  • Client Insights:
    Analyze client data to provide insights on client behavior, preferences, and segmentation for targeted marketing and service improvements.
  • Regulatory Awareness:
    Stay updated on regulatory changes in the brokerage and financial services industry that may impact business development activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, business development, or strategy-preferably in a stock brokerage or financial services firm.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ensure project documentation, requirements, and deliverables are accurate and complete.
  • Comfortable managing project changes, adapting to shifting requirements, and ensuring successful adoption of new processes or systems.
  • Familiarity with financial products, trading platforms, and regulatory environment preferred.
