Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with portfolio managers to understand business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment between investment teams and technology teams.
  • Design, test, and implement processes, tools, and systems in collaboration with internal IT, risk, and finance teams, as well as external software vendors and service providers, to support front-office investment workflows.
  • Develop and execute test plans for system, process, and product enhancements, including active participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Create and maintain user guides, operating procedures, and documentation related to front-office systems, processes, and tools.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to plan and implement system roadmaps for front-office workflows, including feature enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Ensure front-office processes and procedures comply with internal standards for data integrity, security, and auditability.
  • Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot front-office processes and systems to ensure smooth operations. This includes coordinating with internal IT teams and external service providers to resolve production issues.
  • Manage project implementations with vendors and service providers, including procurement coordination and related administrative activities.
  • Oversee change management initiatives to support the adoption of new products, systems, or process improvements, including potential workflow re-engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in investment operations, risk management, or trade processing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with investment management or trading platforms such as Murex, SimCorp Dimension, BlackRock Aladdin, or Charles River IMS.
  • Strong understanding of front-office investment workflows, trade lifecycle, and portfolio management processes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including investment, risk, finance, and IT teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into system and technical requirements.
