Business Analyst Intern/Tester Intern

As a Business Analyst / Tester Intern at NCS, you will contribute to the development and support of healthcare systems used in Singapore. You'll work closely with business users and technical teams, gaining exposure to how digital solutions are designed, tested, and deployed in a healthcare environment.

This role is suitable for students who enjoy understanding user needs, analysing processes, and ensuring systems work reliably for real users.

Impactful Projects

You will support the implementation and ongoing support of healthcare applications by working closely with business users and project teams.

Your contributions may include:

• Engaging business users to understand requirements and operational needs
• Supporting requirements analysis and documentation for system enhancements
• Assisting in system implementation activities and user training
• Supporting application testing and validation to ensure system quality
• Providing ongoing application support and helping to resolve issues
• Gaining exposure to hospital processes and workflows that inform system design

What you will learn

• How the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is applied in real projects
• Requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation techniques
• Basics of functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect tracking
• How healthcare workflows influence system design and implementation
• Professional communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Your responsibilities

• Support requirements gathering and documentation activities
• Assist in preparing test cases and executing functional or UAT testing
• Document issues, test results, and user feedback
• Support user training sessions and preparation of user guides
• Assist in application support and follow-up with technical teams
  
  

• Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to work well in a team
• Commencement date: May 2026 (min 5 months full time commitment)
