Business Analyst, Insurance

We are partnering with a leading insurance firm to hire an experienced Business Analyst to support digital and transformation initiatives within the Life Insurance business. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and project managers to deliver solutions across key digital platforms including Point of Sale (POS), portals, and mobile applications.

This is a 1-year renewable full-time contract with strong potential for extension based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for life insurance systems and digital platforms.

• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, including Epics, Features, and User Stories.

• Facilitate workshops and requirement gathering sessions with business users, product owners, and technology teams.

• Support the delivery of digital transformation initiatives, including enhancements to Insurance POS systems, portals, and mobile applications.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are well understood and implemented correctly.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

• Support testing activities including test case preparation, SIT/UAT coordination, and defect tracking.

• Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage stakeholders across multiple business functions and provide updates on progress, risks, and issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within the Life Insurance domain.

• Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and translating business needs into system functionality.

• Experience working on Insurance Point of Sales (POS), portals, or mobile applications is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with digital transformation or system implementation projects within insurance.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

• Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
