Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements using standard BA methodologies.

• Conduct workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to understand business needs.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.

Process Improvement

• Analyze as-is and to-be business processes and identify improvement opportunities.

• Support process re-engineering, digital transformation, and system implementation initiatives.

• Assist in defining KPIs and success metrics for business solutions.

Solution & Delivery Support

• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Application teams throughout the SDLC.

• Support UAT planning, execution, and defect triage.

• Ensure delivered solutions meet agreed business requirements.

Stakeholder & Documentation Management

• Act as a single point of contact for business queries related to assigned projects.

• Prepare documentation such as BRD, FRD, process flows, use cases, and test scenarios.

• Communicate changes, risks, and impacts to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

• Strong experience in business analysis and requirements management.

• Proficiency in documentation tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

• Experience with Agile / Scrum or Waterfall delivery methodologies.

• Working knowledge of SQL or data analysis concepts is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA are a plus.
