Your new role

In this position as a Business Analyst, reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be consolidating and interpreting financial and operational data, developing dashboards with tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and applying Python to automate reporting processes. You will also contribute to month-end closing activities, audits, and compliance reviews, while delivering insights that guide management decisions. Additionally, you will provide ad-hoc administrative support to the General Manager. You will prepare relevant presentations and reports, coordinate communication with internal and external parties, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you should hold a diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, and have at least two to three years of experience in analytics, reporting, or finance support. A strong understanding of financial reporting and performance metrics is essential, along with proficiency in Power BI or Tableau and working knowledge of Python for automation. Advanced Excel skills are required, and familiarity with reporting tools would be an advantage. You will need excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with a proactive and adaptable mindset, will help you thrive in this hybrid role.
