Business Analyst

Hiring: Business Analyst | Insurance Domain

Location: Singapore

Experience: 5+ Years (Minimum 4+ years may be considered with relevant experience)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Specialist Analyst to join our IT Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Product Team. If you have a strong background in Business Analysis, the Insurance domain, and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to deliver business-driven technology solutions, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements from multiple stakeholders.
• Lead requirement gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, and business discussions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, project scope, and requirement documentation.
• Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements.
• Create user stories, process flows, gap analysis, data mapping, wireframes, prototypes, and other functional documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum teams, business users, and technical teams throughout the SDLC.
• Prepare and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test plans and test scenarios.
• Support QA activities to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and contribute to user-centered solution design.
• Mentor junior Business Analysts and support knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the Insurance industry (Mandatory).
• Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
• Experience in business process analysis, requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and project coordination.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, SMEs, Product Owners, and Project Managers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

• Experience with Figma.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Exposure to UX design principles and user-centered design practices.
