This role sits within a regional organisation delivering customer-facing digital platforms across multiple markets. The Business Analyst will support the delivery of web and mobile initiatives by translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements that enable effective design and development. Working closely with product, technology, and UX teams, the role focuses on hands-on delivery, stakeholder alignment, and supporting end-to-end digital implementation.
Key Responsibilities
. Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for digital platform enhancements and new feature rollouts.
. Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and workshops with business stakeholders to clarify scope, objectives, and constraints.
. Translate business needs into structured documentation, including BRDs, functional specifications, epics, and user stories.
. Work closely with UX and design teams to support the definition of end-to-end customer journeys across web and mobile platforms.
. Collaborate with engineering teams to clarify requirements, support backlog refinement, and ensure alignment during delivery.
. Support prioritisation of user stories based on business value, delivery timelines, and platform dependencies.
. Assist in coordinating delivery activities across multiple workstreams, including vendors or offshore teams where applicable.
. Participate in testing phases (SIT/UAT), supporting test case reviews, defect triage, and business sign-off.
. Ensure requirements and outcomes are clearly communicated across stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Job Requirements
Must-have
. Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
. 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within digital or platform-based environments.
. Hands-on experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery teams.
. Exposure to digital customer journeys, web platforms, or mobile applications.
. Experience with requirements documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office.
. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Nice-to-have
. Exposure to financial services, insurance, or regulated environments.
. Experience working with UX/UI teams or reviewing wireframes and prototypes.
. Involvement in e-commerce, customer lifecycle, or digital servicing platforms.
. Agile or Business Analysis certifications.
