Job Description
Our client, a leading innovator in banking software solutions, is actively hiring experienced Business Analysts to drive core banking projects directly within their Business Unit. Successful candidates will possess a strong history of leading large-scale projects from the business side, bridging the gap between functional requirements and overarching strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Business-Led Project Execution
• Act as the primary business representative and subject matter expert for core banking projects and strategic initiatives.
• Drive end-to-end project delivery out of the Business Unit, ensuring operational readiness and minimal disruption to daily banking activities.
• Gather, define, and document business requirements, translating functional needs into clear, actionable project scopes.
Stakeholder Alignment & Collaboration
• Bridge the gap between the business unit and technical delivery teams, ensuring IT and tech squads accurately understand and execute business goals.
• Manage expectations and communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to senior business leaders and internal stakeholders.
• Lead business-side testing (UAT) and validate that delivered solutions meet the original commercial and operational requirements.
Process & Strategy Optimization
• Analyze existing core banking workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement.
• Support change management efforts, product rollouts, and business process re-engineering required by new system implementations.
Requirements
• Background within a Business Unit (e.g., retail banking, corporate banking, wealth), functioning as a Business Analyst or similar project-focused role.
• Deep domain knowledge of core banking operations, products, and business processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from the business side, including requirement gathering, process mapping, and UAT.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Strong analytical mindset focused on delivering commercial value and operational efficiency.
