Business Analyst

Position:

• Create, analyse, and document business requirements for surveillance scenarios, alerts, workflows, and escalation processes.
• Support delivery through functional design, data mapping, UAT, scenario testing, and solution validation.
• Facilitate stakeholder and solution design workshops; collaborate with Architecture and Technology to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Maintain stakeholder engagement, manage requirement sign-off, and support audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance responses with clear documentation.

Skills:

• 5-10 years of financial services BA experience
• Working knowledge of Trade Surveillance, including market abuse monitoring, order/execution behaviour, and cross market surveillance.
• Experience working with Compliance Surveillance teams and supporting alert review and market conduct risk processes.
• Experienced in using business analyst methods such as flow charting, requirements capturing, stakeholder analysis, use cases, brainstorming, solution prototyping, and traceability.
• Has strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively and proactively with external and internal stakeholders.
