RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibilities

  • Work with the Agency's business teams to understand what citizens, businesses and the Agency need
  • Use Design Thinking and Service Design to find current gaps and design better solutions
  • Recommend suitable technology that fits GovTech's direction (cloud, enterprise architecture, legacy system modernisation, SG Tech Stack)
  • Decide the best delivery approach: outsourced, shared or internal development
  • Write user stories, functional and technical specifications, and acceptance criteria with the team
  • Make sure products are ready for deployment, adoption and operations
  • Review change requests, suggest improvements, and work with the support team to fix technical issues
  • Support the CIO in finding new digital transformation opportunities for the Agency
  • Learn the Agency's business and operations well, and spot ways to improve them
  • Identify project risks and recommend how to reduce them
  • Manage vendors to deliver ICT solutions and services
  • Follow IT, quality and security policies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering, or related fields
  • 3 years and above of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Consulting, software development or design experience is an advantage
  • Hands on experience working in Agile product teams
  • Working knowledge of AI tools and concepts
  • Strong analytical, facilitation and problem solving skills, especially in discovery sessions and prototyping
  • Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to influence and pitch ideas
  • Driven, motivated and a fast learner
  • Project or Product Management experience is a plus
  • Motivated by innovation and customer satisfaction
