We are seeking a responsible and experienced Bus Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers along assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals, and maintaining a high standard of customer service. The Bus Driver must follow all traffic regulations, company policies, and safety procedures while providing a comfortable and secure journey for passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate buses safely and efficiently along designated routes and schedules
- Pick up and drop off passengers at specified stops in a timely manner
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the journey
- Follow all traffic laws, road regulations, and company driving policies
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Report any mechanical issues, defects, or accidents promptly to management
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting when necessary, including elderly or disabled individuals
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the bus interior and exterior
- Handle passenger inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Monitor passenger behavior to ensure a safe and respectful environment
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and incidents
- Adhere to assigned schedules while maintaining flexibility for traffic conditions or route changes
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and operations team
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and local transport regulations
- Manage emergency situations calmly and follow proper procedures when required
