Responsibilities
- Drive passengers safely by picking them up and dropping them off at designated locations
- Follow planned routes and adhere to scheduled times to ensure timely service
- Comply with all traffic laws and state and federal transit regulations to maintain safety and legality
- Implement safety procedures to protect passengers during transit
- Conduct basic vehicle maintenance by checking bus tires, lights, and oil to ensure operational readiness
- Maintain cleanliness and presentability of the bus for a positive public image
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid Class 3/4 & Vocational License as required for operating the vehicle
