Overview
Support the procurement of marine fuel for a shipowner, ensuring reliable supply, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Procure bunker fuel for assigned vessels and trade routes.
Negotiate with oil majors, suppliers, traders, and bunker brokers to secure competitive pricing.
Monitor fuel market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement decisions.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support vessel fuel requirements.
Manage bunker-related quality, quantity, and claims issues.
Liaise with surveyors, testing laboratories, and other fuel service providers.
Review bunker invoices and support cost control initiatives.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Shipping, Maritime, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Good understanding of bunker procurement, bunker trading, marine fuel operations, or vessel operations.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Good understanding of marine fuels, fuel specifications, and bunker market dynamics.
Experience with bunker claims, invoicing, or fuel-related operational matters is advantageous.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
