About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Building Technician to support the maintenance and upkeep of our properties located in Chinatown, Boat Quay and Bugis. The role involves carrying out general repair works and ensuring all facilities are in good working condition to provide a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:
Main Tasks:
- Perform general maintenance works including painting, minor repairs and replacement of bulbs
- Carry out basic plumbing and electrical works
- Troubleshoot and rectify issues such as ceiling leaks and faulty appliances (e.g. washing machines, microwaves, safes)
- Perform basic carpentry works, including repair of doors, handles, hinges and furniture
- Maintain and repair bathroom fixtures (e.g. faucets, showers, toilets, drainage systems)
- Ensure proper functioning of fire safety systems such as smoke detectors
Supporting Tasks:
- Assist in air-conditioning cleaning and basic maintenance works
Requirements:
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual maintenance work
- Able to walk between locations and handle a fast-paced workload during peak periods
- Responsible and hands-on with a positive work attitude
Work Schedule:
- 6 days work week
- Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- No overtime required
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic Salary: $2,500 - $3,000
- Meal Allowance: $100
- Transport Allowance: $100
- Annual Leave: 10 days
- Medical Benefits: $200 per year (under company care plan)
