Job Description Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a high-profile, sensitive building. The successful candidate will act as a Managing Agent, serving as the key liaison between client and various service providers to ensure that all facilities-related functions are carried out efficiently, securely, and in full compliance with the client's protocols and standards.

About the Role:
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the client, providing timely updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring service delivery meets contractual obligations and client expectations.
- Facility Operations: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of facility management, including M&E systems, housekeeping, pest control, waste management, landscaping, security, and other soft and hard services.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Supervise third-party vendors and contractors to ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance with building standards and sensitive site requirements.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure the facility is fully compliant with all safety, health, environmental, and legal regulations. Conduct routine inspections and audits, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage operational budgets, track expenditures, and recommend cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and compliance.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit regular reports on operations, incidents, inspections, maintenance schedules, and KPIs to both the client and internal stakeholders.
- Crisis and Emergency Response: Lead or support emergency response plans and drills, ensuring the building and team are prepared for any contingencies.
- Team Leadership: Manage on-site staff (if any), ensuring roles are clearly defined, performance is monitored, and training is provided where necessary.
About You
- Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or client-facing role.
- Experience working in secure or sensitive building environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of building systems (M&E), statutory requirements, and workplace safety.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently under pressure.
- Familiarity with contract management and budgeting processes.
