Building Information Modelling (BIM) Modeller

The BIM Modeller is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining accurate 3D Building Information Models for construction projects. The role supports project teams by producing shop drawings, clash detection models, and coordinated construction documentation to improve project delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. BIM Modelling & Drafting
Prepare and update 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar software.
Produce detailed shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and authority requirements.

2.Coordination & Clash Detection
Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models.
Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
Attend BIM coordination meetings and update models based on comments.

3. Project Support
Assist engineers and project managers with technical drawings and model data extraction.
Generate material quantity take-offs from BIM models.
Support construction sequencing and planning using BIM models.

4.Documentation & Compliance
Maintain BIM documentation, revisions, and model version control.
Ensure compliance with Building and Construction Authority BIM submission standards.
Prepare BIM deliverables for client or authority submissions.

Requirements (2-3 Years Experience)

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2-3 years of BIM modelling experience in building or construction projects.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction practices and Building and Construction Authority BIM requirements.
• Able to read construction drawings and coordinate with multiple disciplines.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
