Building Information Modelling (BIM) Modeller

Be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining accurate Building Information Modelling (BIM) models to support project design, construction planning, and site execution. The role ensures alignment between design intent, construction requirements, and BIM standards while facilitating coordination among project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Modelling & Compliance
Develop and maintain BIM models in accordance with BIM guidelines, BEP (BIM Execution Plan), and project-specific modelling standards.
Ensure all architectural, structural, and MEP components meet submission requirements and digital delivery standards. Support BIM deliverables required for authority submissions, coordination reviews, and documentation.

Design Coordination & Clash Detection

Conduct interdisciplinary coordination among architectural, civil & structural (C&S), and M&E services using BIM tools.
Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts prior to construction to minimize site rework.

Construction Drawing & Shop Drawing Production

Prepare detailed shop drawings, coordinated construction drawings, and as-built models for project implementation.
Ensure drawings reflect latest revisions, site conditions, and consultant instructions. Support project teams with accurate modelling for precast components, structural works, and services integration.

Precast & DfMA Coordination (Important for HDB Projects)
Assist in modelling precast structural components such as walls, slabs, staircases, and bathroom units where applicable.
Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) elements to ensure smooth fabrication and installation.

Authority Submission & Regulatory Support

Support BIM-related submissions to authorities including HDB, BCA, and relevant agencies when required.
Ensure documentation meets compliance standards for public housing developments.
Assist in maintaining digital records for regulatory audits and project completion documentation.

Documentation Control & Model Management
Maintain version control of BIM models, drawings, and project documentation. Ensure proper data management, naming conventions, and documentation filing according to project standards.
Support final as-built BIM deliverables upon project completion.
