Job Summary
Lead and coordinate construction teams to deliver quality projects on schedule while ensuring compliance with safety standards and fostering continuous improvement through training and collaboration with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and align teams to deliver high-quality construction work within strict deadlines
- Monitor construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards
- Conduct equipment, material, and routine site inspections to maintain operational safety and quality
- Develop and deliver training and team-building sessions to enhance workforce skills and collaboration
- Schedule and lead regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and staff to ensure project alignment
- Collaborate closely with architects and other professionals to integrate design and construction requirements
- Stay informed on current safety codes and construction industry advancements to apply best practices
- Assist in recruiting and training new staff to build a competent and compliant workforce
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations at all times on site
- Visit construction sites daily to oversee progress and address issues promptly
- Manage workload demands including working beyond regular hours and on weekends or public holidays as required
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (stated as Must have diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering)
- Basic Concept in Construction Productivity Enhance certificate (stated as Must have Basic Concept In Construction Productivity Enhance certificate)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (stated as Minimum Educational Qualification is Bachelor's Degree)
