Job Description
- Accomplishes constructionhuman resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning,scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees communicating jobexpectations planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions recommendingcompensation actions adhering to policies and procedures.
- Meets operational standards bycontributing construction information to strategic plans and reviewsimplementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standardsresolving problems identifying construction management system improvements.
- Accomplishes construction projectresults by defining project purpose and scope calculating resources requiredestablishing standards and protocols allocating resources scheduling andcoordinating staff and sub-contractors evaluating milestone assumptions andconclusions resolving design problems evaluating and implementing changeorders.
- Prevents fines and interruptions bycomplying with, and enforcing, codes.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthywork environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures complyingwith legal regulations.
- Updates job knowledge by tracking andunderstanding emerging construction practices and standards participating ineducational opportunities reading professional publications maintainingpersonal networks participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances organization reputation byaccepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests exploringopportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
