Job Summary
Lead and manage fire protection system projects, coordinating teams and stakeholders from design through completion to deliver compliant, high-quality installations for clients including world-class data centers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of supervisors to implement fire protection systems including Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Hosereel, Hydrant, Rising Main, Emergency Communication, and Gas systems throughout all project phases
- Plan and oversee project stages from concept, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, site management, to testing and commissioning
- Supervise on-site work and coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, site supervisors, foremen, and workers to ensure smooth project execution
- Attend and contribute to meetings with owners, consultants, and contractors to address project operations and coordination issues
- Report project progress and issues directly to the Project Director for effective project management
- Adapt to tight deadlines while maintaining quality and compliance standards
- Utilize computer skills to support project documentation and communication
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in fire protection industry or related field, ideally 1-3 years in a similar capacity
- Strong technical fundamentals in engineering disciplines related to fire protection systems
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project for project planning and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to engage stakeholders effectively
- Self-driven, proactive, and motivated to learn and adapt quickly
- Candidates with Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Post Graduate Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to apply
