Building Construction General Foreman

Job Description

Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.

Lead and manage construction workers, subcontractors, and site teams.

Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.

Ensure work is completed according to project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, contractors, and project managers.

Monitor materials, tools, equipment, and manpower requirements.

Inspect ongoing work and ensure proper construction methods are followed.

Maintain daily site records and report progress, issues, and delays to management.

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

Resolve routine site problems and coordinate work between different trades.

Requirements

Diploma or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering / Construction is preferred.

5-10 years of relevant construction site experience, preferably in building construction.

Proven experience as a General Foreman, Construction Foreman, or Site Supervisor.

Good knowledge of building construction methods, materials, and site procedures.

Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.

Strong team leadership and manpower management skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Knowledge of construction safety practices and quality standards.

Willingness to work on construction sites and flexible working hours when required.
