We are looking for a Building and Facilities person that will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and smooth operation of building facilities, including inspections, upkeep of systems (electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, fire safety, security), and supervision of maintenance staff. Manages budgets, contractors, and service providers while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Handles tenant-related matters and supports ad-hoc projects as required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor and maintain building systems, including electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, fire safety, and security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control).
- Allocate workload, supervise, and provide guidance to upkeep staff (e.g., cleaners, janitors, electricians, technicians).
- Manage and control maintenance budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize costs.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely service delivery.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports of daily activities.
- Handle tenant-related matters, including maintenance requests, service delivery, and issue resolution.
- Support ad-hoc projects, initiatives, and tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
- Proven experience in facilities or property management.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to manage staff, tenants, and contractors.
