Job Summary
The Brand Manager leads marketing and commercial strategies for a billion-dollar brand, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver cohesive regional plans. You will identify consumer needs, drive innovation, and execute marketing initiatives that achieve business growth and market penetration.
Responsibilities
- Lead consumer research to develop qualified brand concepts, benefits, and claims that address unmet consumer needs and inform product development
- Collaborate with Research & Development and technical teams to design product packaging and formulas tailored to local consumer preferences
- Communicate effectively with local market partners, stakeholders, and suppliers to advance P&G business initiatives and align commercial strategies
- Lead creative agencies to develop and execute culturally relevant communication ideas and TV copy production that resonate with local consumers
- Develop and deploy fit-for-use marketing toolkits, including copy, print materials, digital i-banners, social and eCommerce content, sampling trials, in-store activations, and demos
- Coordinate with R&D and Consumer Research teams to qualify products and packaging through rigorous testing processes
- Craft promotion and pricing strategies, including customer and distributor trade terms, in collaboration with the local trade team to optimize market performance
- Partner with technical teams to identify supply chain solutions that manage product costs within affordable levels
- Build and maintain positive relationships with multi-functional teams to facilitate collaboration and achieve Scorecard Business Targets aligned with Business Unit goals
- Drive category growth, increase market penetration, and acquire new users through innovative product design and marketing initiatives
Role Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in FMCG marketing within the APAC region
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills to drive brand growth and innovation
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a forward-thinking and courageous approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to influence and collaborate across diverse teams
