Purpose of the Role
The goal of this role is to devise and execute comprehensive commercial strategies and programs for designated Brands and Therapeutic Areas. By leading, developing, executing, analysing, and enhancing cross-functional brand management efforts, you will enhance patient value, ensure outstanding customer experience (Cx), and achieve consistent financial outcomes, including meeting national sales and profit targets
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Brand Management:
- Foster strong relationships to facilitate knowledge sharing and contribute to the development and successful execution of brand plans.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Brands@Centre) at local market to develop and execute comprehensive launch plans for the Brand, ensuring alignment on marketing strategies, internal readiness, and stakeholder engagement to drive successful market entry.
- Ensure adherence to Malaysia/Singapore Association of Pharmaceutical Industry Code of Conduct, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with Brand Team to achieve brand objectives, taking ownership of the marketing mix for specified customer segments.
- Develop comprehensive market insights and Omni/Multichannel Customer Experience programs to achieve strategic brand objectives.
- Innovate in new channels and seamlessly integrate them with existing strategies under the guidance of the Omnichannel Lead, emphasising high-value Customer Experience (Cx).
- Utilise data-driven insights to continuously enhance marketing programs and strengthen relationships with external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with third-party agencies for the execution of product campaigns, educational programs, conferences, and promotional materials.
- Engage with and foster relationships with key Healthcare Professionals, Healthcare Organisations and Patient Groups.
- Monitor and analyse brand sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts for budgets and to inform manufacturing operations and inventory control, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Content Development:
- Lead local content development efforts, efficiently managing budgets and optimising content creation processes for speed and compliance.
- Implement and leverage content technologies such as Promomats to facilitate effective content reuse and streamline approvals.
- Develop targeted campaigns and assets aligned with specific customer profiles and the Omnichannel Engagement Framework (OEF).
- Ensure the compliant execution and ongoing optimisation of content planning, creation, production, MLR review, approval, and distribution processes.
- Drive Global for Local (G4L) content reuse strategies.
- Analyse content performance metrics to derive actionable insights for data-driven decision-making, continuously optimizing current campaigns and informing future content strategies
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical brand management
- Omni channel marketing experience
- Prescription Product Launch to specialists
- Experience in setting up Biomarker Diagnostic Testing will be favourable
- Proficiency in data analytics for decision-making
- Prior involvement in content strategy innovation and operational marketing developments
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to translate brand strategy into actionable content / tactics for target customer profiles
- Deep understanding of omnichannel engagement practices
- Familiarity with Veeva Products and digital marketing platforms
- Excellent project and program management skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Highly curious with strong learning agility
- Tenacity and grit in achieving outcomes
- Knowledge of copyright laws and compliance in content creation
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in science, marketing and/or business
