Job Summary
Operate and maintain bored piling machines on construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient machine performance to support project progress.
Responsibilities
- Operate bored piling machines to complete piling tasks accurately and safely on construction sites
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on bored piling machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure operational reliability
- Read and interpret machine and equipment diagrams and system schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
- Collaborate with site teams to coordinate machine operations and support construction activities
- Adapt to work schedules that include overtime, weekends, and public holidays as needed to meet project deadlines
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess a valid Boring Operator Certificate as a mandatory qualification for operating bored piling machines
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Demonstrate at least 7 years of local experience operating bored piling machines to ensure proficiency and familiarity with site conditions
- Show familiarity with construction site environments to navigate and operate equipment safely
- Exhibit effective interpersonal skills to communicate and cooperate with team members
