Job Summary
You will provide professional body and foot massage treatments to clients, using various techniques to improve circulation, relieve muscle tension, and promote wellness. You will also guide clients on remedial exercises and maintain accurate treatment records.
Responsibilities
- Apply massage techniques such as kneading, rubbing, and stroking to stimulate blood circulation and relax contracted muscles for remedial or hygienic purposes
- Administer body conditioning treatments using alcohol, lubricants, or other rubbing compounds as appropriate
- Examine clients and recommend suitable body conditioning activities or treatments to support their health
- Provide clients with guidance on reducing or remedial exercises to enhance treatment outcomes
- Record details of treatments administered accurately for client tracking and follow-up
- Maintain professionalism and interpersonal skills to build trust and ensure client comfort during one-on-one sessions
- Commit to working alternate weekends, public holidays, and overtime, including potentially long hours as required
- Uphold good personal hygiene and physical stamina to meet the demands of massage therapy work
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Relevant Diploma or WSQ Certifications in massage therapy or reflexology
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in body therapy, foot reflexology, or related roles
