About The Role
The Business & Product Operations, Senior Manager to drive the adoption and growth of, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) product which spans across Southeast Asia. As part of the Regional Team, you will be the key personnel to ensure the smooth-running operations of our lending business supporting across leading Alibaba E-commerce platforms responsible for all internal and external stakeholder management. You are a goal-getter, a people person and a desired team player for the regional and local country teams and a hands-on project manager to manage projects efficiently and implement the product roadmap and plans.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire chain of business operations from product development plans, campaign management, marketing and partnership collaboration with internal stakeholders with cross function teams such as product, technology, legal, finance, compliance, marketing, credit risk and customer service within Alibaba E-commerce platforms.
- Work with our internal and external partners to drive the adoption and growth of BNPL in-country with good understanding of the fintech/ lending scenes in the markets.
- Contribute and influence the product roadmap together with our product development and technology team to improve overall user experience, develop product features and product operational tools to improve the overall product user conversions and experience.
- A data expert with the ability to analyse and report key business metrics that will have a strong influence on business decisions.
- Deep understanding of marketing conversation funnel and user behaviour metrics with the ability to analyse current user retention, traffic to create meaningful and impactful campaigns to educate and drive adoption for BNPL usage.
- To plan and execute marketing campaigns and projects with relevant cross-function domains to increase overall reach and visibility of BNPL.
- Role also entails day to day operation managements from internal, external stakeholder alignment and communications with partners, promotion campaigns management, UAT, product roadmap planning, reporting and budget management.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business Finance, Marketing, or any related specialisations.
- 7 years+ experience in a product operations, partnerships and/ or marketing function within the technology sector, lending sector, financial services, fintech sector or e-commerce platform preferred.
- Proficient in data analytical skills and deep understanding of the key conversion metrics.
- A strong communicator with good interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate and collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to project manage across multiple work streams and requirements.
- Able to work independently and adapt to a fast and dynamic work environment with a high focus in end-results and bottom-line goals
- You are a goal-getter, people person and self-motivator who can work both independently and collaboratively in a remote team settings.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Local language to effectively communicate with local and regional teams.
- Deep understanding of marketing conversation funnel and user behaviour metrics with the ability to analyse current user retention, traffic and optimize campaigns and using tools to increase the user penetrations on the platforms.
- Able to work independently and adapt to a fast and dynamic work environment with a high focus in end-results and bottom-line goals
