Job Role: BMC Helix ITOM Administrator

Core Objective: To administer the BMC IT Operational Management (ITOM) Suite, focusing on event correlation, monitoring integration, and proactive infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Management: Maintain and update BMC event adapters, event threshold settings, and blackout configurations to minimize noise and suppressing false positives.
- Monitoring Integration: Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures between the ITOM suite and other monitoring solutions like Splunk Observability and SolarWinds.
- Proactive Operations: Configure automated ticket creation and resolution mechanisms through seamless integration between monitoring tools and BMC Helix.
- Capacity and Performance: Conduct regular monitoring of tool performance and resource utilization to ensure a seamless experience for technical teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement automation modules or custom plugins to enhance the broader DevSecOps toolchain capabilities.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Relevant Skillset: Demonstrated technical expertise specifically in the BMC Helix ITOM Suite.
- Availability: Must be stationed onsite; if the resource is unavailable for more than seven consecutive calendar days, the Service Provider must provide a replacement with a similar skillset.
- Collaboration: Work with separate project teams during major tool upgrades while maintaining steady-state operations.
General Compliance for Both Roles
- Work Standards: Personnel must have at least an ITIL Base Certificate and follow NUS IT ISO processes and procedures.
- Security: Staff must adhere to strict security protocols; notably, offshore resources are generally prohibited from accessing production business data.
- Audit Readiness: Resources must maintain audit-compliant artifacts and participate in regular ISMS and ISO audits
