Job Summary
Plan, manage, and maintain BIM data to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards, coordinating across disciplines to resolve design clashes and deliver accurate, up-to-date documentation throughout project lifecycles.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and management of BIM data to meet project specifications and quality standards
- Develop and maintain project template files to ensure consistent application of BIM standards
- Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to identify and resolve design clashes effectively
- Prepare and issue transmittals for drawings to sub-contractors, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Manage revision control by superseding and updating drawing statuses to reflect current project information
- Compile comprehensive as-built drawings upon project completion to document final construction details
- Coordinate architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to support integrated project delivery
- Produce detailed working drawings with accurate documentation to facilitate construction processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and team objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- BIM certification from BCA or a recognized training institute
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for architectural, civil, and structural modeling
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with BIM software and modeling techniques including Navisworks, AutoCAD, BENTLEY BIM, and Civil 3D Design
- Strong knowledge of architectural, civil, and structural engineering design and construction principles
- Demonstrated teamwork and a proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take responsibility
- Effective follow-up skills to ensure task completion and project progress
