BIM Modeller

Job Description:

• Ensures BIM models are generated proficiently and professionally fit for fabrication and installation (per project basis)
• Ensures models developed are fit for federated integration and coordination
• Assists BIM Coordinator in converting project information from 2D to 3D models so that BIM models meet the minimum standard of detail and development
• Assists BIM Coordinator to liaise with relevant trade suppliers to obtain relevant information for BIM development of design and documentation
• Ensures that preliminary design models are modelled in Project pursuits as and when required.
• Produces BIM model deliverables for design, documentation and fabrication purpose
• Ensures that BIM models are delivered with professionalism (Quality, due diligence and timeliness)
• Prepares models for Clash Detection co-ordination
• Identifies issues for BIM Coordinator where discrepancies occur during design production
• Ensures BIM models are modelled with the correct BIM parameters and attributes for BIM assisted quantification and 4D simulation
• Facilitates as working group forum to share issues and resolution where BIM is required
• Assists BIM Coordinator in testing/adopting new technologies, and to identify workflow issues associated with the implementation of pilot projects
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Services, or related field
• 1-3 years of BIM modelling experience (fresh graduates with strong BIM skills are welcome)
• Good understanding of construction drawings and coordination processes
• Familiarity with Singapore BIM standards and workflows is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
