Job Summary
You will develop and manage BIM models to support construction and authority submissions, ensuring design accuracy and compliance while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to resolve conflicts and facilitate project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Construct and update BIM models to reflect current project designs and changes
- Use BIM software to detect and resolve design conflicts and clashes across disciplines, ensuring seamless integration
- Generate technical drawings, shop drawings, and BIM deliverables required for construction and regulatory submissions
- Maintain BIM model accuracy, integrity, and quality to comply with project standards and regulations
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, engineers, and teams to exchange accurate and timely information
- Conduct model reviews and produce reports that support project coordination and informed decision-making
- Plan, manage, and maintain BIM data aligned with project requirements and standards
Required competencies and certifications
- Demonstrate high proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for BIM modeling and coordination
- Apply extensive hands-on experience with BIM modeling and implementation, preferably on large-scale infrastructure or HDB projects
- Understand construction documents, industry standards, and relevant BCA (Building and Construction Authority) regulations to ensure compliance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Hold a Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field
- Exhibit excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
