1. M&E Model Creation & Maintenance
Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for M&E systems (HVAC, lighting, power, instrumentation, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV).
Integrate M&E models with architectural, structural, civil, and other discipline models into a federated model.
2. Coordination & Clash Detection
Perform clash detection resolve clashes between M&E systems and with other disciplines (structure, architectural, drainage, equipment).
Participate in regular BIM coordination meetings with PSA, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
Propose alternative routing or layout solutions to maintain design intent and constructability.
3. Documentation & Deliverables
Generate M&E shop drawings, schematics, sections, schedules, and installation details.
Produce cable tray/ladder routing, lighting layouts, equipment mounting details, and pipework isometric drawings.
4. Technical Support & Automation
Provide support to site engineers and subcontractors.
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler specializing in M&E (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection).
At least 2 years working on infrastructure, industrial, port, or large‑scale building projects (e.g., container terminals, power plants, water treatment plants, data centres).
Experience with PSA, LTA, JTC, or PUB projects in Singapore is an advantage.
Technical Skills (Mandatory)
Expert‑level Revit MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection modules): families, routing, systems, schedules.
Navisworks Manage (clash detection, model review, time‑liner).
AutoCAD (for legacy drawings and detail overlays).
BIM 360 / ACC (collaboration, issue tracking, model publishing).
Strong understanding of LOD 100-500 and BIM Execution Plans.
Familiarity with Singapore M&E codes and standards (SS CP 5, CP 13, CP 52, SS 638, SS 650, etc.) and BCA guidelines.
